1. Introduction / Agreement to Terms
Welcome to My RV Inspection.
By using this website or booking an inspection, you’re agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms apply to all users of the website and all customers who schedule services with My RV Inspection.
These Terms are intended to clearly outline how our website and services work, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.
2. Company Information
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) are entered into by and between the customer (“Client”) and My RV Inspection (“the Company”), and govern the scheduling, inspection, and reporting services provided by the Company.
Our services are performed throughout Central Florida, generally covering areas from Fort Myers to Ocala and across the state coast to coast, depending on scheduling and availability.
3. Services + Scope
Description of Services
My RV Inspection provides visual and operational inspections of recreational vehicles, focusing on systems and components that are readily accessible at the time of the inspection.
When safe, appropriate, and legally permissible, the Inspector may operate systems using normal controls to assess general function.
The inspection reflects conditions observed at the time of inspection and is based on the Inspector’s training, experience, and professional judgment. It is not technically exhaustive and does not predict future performance or reliability.
Scope and Limitations
Inspections are limited to systems and components that are accessible at the time of the inspection. The process is non-invasive and does not include dismantling, destructive testing, or evaluation of concealed areas.
Not all systems can be tested in every inspection. Results may vary based on the condition of the RV, site setup, and available utilities.
Conditions can change after the inspection is completed. The report reflects the condition of the RV at the time of inspection only.
Conditions That Affect the Inspection
A complete inspection depends on proper setup and access to the RV at the time of inspection, including shore power (30/50 amp), water, propane, and access to all areas with the appropriate keys.
If these conditions are not available, certain systems may not be tested, and those limitations will be noted in the report.
System Operation and Compliance Considerations
System operation during the inspection is performed using normal controls and in a manner the Inspector deems safe and appropriate under the conditions present at the time of inspection.
The inspection is not intended to determine compliance with governmental regulations, manufacturer specifications, or installation requirements. If any law, regulation, site restriction, or safety concern limits the ability to test or operate a system, the Inspector may modify or decline that portion of the inspection.
No Guarantee or Warranty
The inspection and report are based on conditions observed at the time of inspection and are not a guarantee, warranty, or insurance policy regarding the condition of the RV or its future performance.
Professional Opinion and Limitations
The inspection report is not a repair estimate, valuation, or appraisal.
My RV Inspection does not provide recommendations on whether a Client should proceed with the purchase of a recreational vehicle.
Third-Party Use
The inspection report is prepared for the Client who booked the inspection and is intended for their use only.
My RV Inspection is not responsible for the use, interpretation, or reliance on the report by any third party. Any third party who chooses to rely on the report does so at their own risk.
4. Booking + Payment
Scheduling and Availability
All appointments are based on availability and are scheduled through our real-time online calendar. The first available appointment date shown is the earliest we have available.
We recommend confirming that the RV is on site and ready before booking to help avoid scheduling issues or the need to reschedule.
Booking Requirements
Full payment is required at the time of booking in order to secure an appointment. We do not hold appointment times without payment.
A valid VIN is required at the time of booking. Other details, such as contact information or on-site coordination, may be updated as needed prior to the inspection.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are subject to the following based on the scheduled inspection date:
- More than 2 business days: refund issued, less a $50 processing and administrative fee
- Within 2 business days: 50% refund
- After travel to the inspection site has begun: no refund
Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests are subject to the following based on the scheduled inspection date:
- More than 2 business days: $150 rescheduling fee
- Within 2 business days: $300 rescheduling fee
- After travel to the inspection site has begun: 50% of the inspection fee
Rescheduling is based on availability and may result in a later appointment date.
RV Readiness and Access
The Client is responsible for confirming that the RV is on site, accessible, and ready for inspection at the scheduled time.
If the RV is not ready or accessible:
- The inspection may be limited
- Report delivery may be delayed
- Rescheduling may be required and applicable fees may apply
Inspection Process
We design our inspection process to be thorough and efficient. To get the most out of your inspection, the RV should be fully set up with adequate space to access all areas and operate major components. This allows us to complete the inspection without delays and provide a complete report.
5. Reports + Follow-Up
Inspection Reports
Inspection reports are typically delivered the same day as the inspection, though timing may vary depending on travel, technical issues, or scheduling.
Reports include photos, and may also include 360 images and short video clips when needed to better document specific findings.
Communication and Follow-Up
The Inspector will notify the Client when the inspection is complete.
While reports are designed to be clear and easy to understand, the Inspector is available for reasonable follow-up questions and clarification.
Additional Services
Additional follow-up inspections, including repair verification, may be available as a separate service and fee. Availability is limited and subject to scheduling and location.
6. Liability + Legal Protections
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of My RV Inspection for any claims arising out of or related to the inspection or the inspection report is limited to the amount paid for the inspection.
No Consequential Damages
My RV Inspection is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the inspection or the inspection report, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of opportunity, or related expenses.
Indemnification
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless My RV Inspection from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of the Client’s use of the inspection report or any information provided in connection with the inspection.
